Thankful

Giving Thanks

From the official kick-off of the holiday season, to an opportunity to take advantage of great deals, Thanksgiving has come to mean many things over the years. Amidst preparing the store for the holiday rush and planning our own family gatherings, I took some time to sit down and think about what I am thankful for. After all, that’s what this is all about. Right?

Having been blessed with wonderful people in my life and amazing opportunities, compiling this list didn’t take a lot of effort. It was also a great way to set the tone of the holidays, bringing a larger focus to the people and the events that have shaped who I am. While it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season, I think it’s important for all of us to take a moment to reflect. Appreciate. Give thanks.

Here are the top five things that I am thankful for this holiday season:

  1. Thankful for having God on my side, who has lead us to an AMAZING church family.
  2. Thankful for my husband, kids and family that surround me.
  3. Thankful for my health.
  4. Thankful for my business, staff and customers that make it all possible.
  5. Thankful for the people that I have encountered in my life. Each and every one of them has impacted me greatly. I have vivid memories of parents friends growing up to those that I just met yesterday. They all have played a role in my foundation and I am grateful for that.
What’s on your list? Wishing you all a safe, relaxing and laughter-filled Thanksgiving holiday.
And, thank you for reading!
