July came and went, and it’s hard to believe that school is just around the corner! We’ve already started back-to-school prep in our house – stocking up on school supplies, securing uniforms, and practicing those early morning wake up calls. My kids are NOT happy, but I’m trying to stay strong. #willpower

If you too are a Mother gearing up for the next school year, I’m sure you’re feeling the pressure too. Well, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s an event called Moms & Mimosas. What’s not to love?

Jan Collins is the host of this awesome gathering. For those who don’t know her, she’s a rock-star businesswoman that just happens to own two of my favorite local restaurants – Putters and Cozy’s Cottage. While Jan’s kids are now grown, she knows first hand how busy summer and school prep can be. So, after the kiddos hop on the bus for the first day, she decided us Mom’s deserve some fun too!

This year Moms & Mimosas will be held on August 16^th from 9AM to 11AM at Putters in West Chester, OH. I’m lucky to have partnered with Jan on the event this year, and with our forces combined we’ve kicked it up a notch. Expect great food, good company, gift bags, and some pretty spectacular raffle prizes.

If your kids have a different start date, let’s chat. Maybe we can get a second date on the calendar! Even though my kids start on August 22^nd, I’m still planning to hire a sitter and join in on the fun. Hope to see you all there!!
