When it comes to jewelry, I don’t discriminate. I love it all. That said, some pieces are more practical than others and if you’re trying to prioritize your investments, I would say … stick to the basics. It’s better to have a few pieces that you can wear everyday versus one jaw-dropping piece that really only has a place on the red carpet.

If you ask me there are five jewelry pieces that every woman deserves to have in her jewelry box. Without further ado …

DIAMOND STUDS

If I had to pick one {yes, just one} piece of jewelry that every woman should own it would be a pair of diamond stud earrings. They go with everything and they add such a beautiful shine to your already beautiful face. The size doesn’t matter, the important thing is that they sparkle! Put simply, if you buy a pair of studs and decide to upgrade later we’ll take the old pair off your hands and just charge you the difference. PEARL STUDS

Diamonds annnd pearls, you ask? Yes, you should have both. Generally 6-7mm is a great size for everyday wear, though it will depend on what you’re comfortable with. I’ve seen many women walking around with 10-12mm studs on these days, and it works, because they rock them with confidence. Really you can’t go wrong because, just like diamonds, pearls go with everything.

LONG NECKLACES

I am in love with long necklaces. And, when I say long I typically mean between 24 and 36 inches. From plain blouses to that simple black dress, long necklaces are such a great way to add a personality to the more basic pieces of your wardrobe. Just watch out if you have little kids at home, we all know how much they love to pull {wink}.

DIAMOND HOOPS

Sometimes in life you want a little bit more than your everyday stud earrings can offer. I’m talking nights out with your ladies, important business meetings, and those fancy date nights with your one and only. In these situations I reach for my sparkling, diamond hoops. They’re such a perfect way to add a hint of glam to your wardrobe without screaming, “look at me, look at me”.

LAYERED NECKLACES

More often than not, you’ll find me sporting a layered look. After all, why stop at one necklace when you can wear two, or even three?! My latest addition the below necklace featuring my boys’ birthstones. Technically it’s a Mother’s Day gift, but shhh, I’ve already been wearing it. At 15″ this piece looks great stacked with another 24″ necklace.
