Well, I can’t believe it, but another school year is coming to an end. And, I am over here jumping for joy! No more homework, no more projects, and see you later to those early mornings. Whether your child is in pre-school or high school, if you’re a parent, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Sighs of relief all around.
Before we jump fully into summer mode I walk to congratulate two graduates in our family. First, our son Ty who will be putting his middle school years behind him and preparing to enter big ol’ high school in the fall. I’m still in shock. Am I really ready for this? Today we’ll celebrate his 8th grade graduation at a Passages ceremony. I’ll be bringing all of the Kleenex for this one.
We also have a high school graduate in the family this year! My nephew Gage will be graduating from Lakota West with plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to study engineering. You may recognize him as he’s quite the social butterfly {like his aunt} and has also put in plenty of time at the jewelry store. He even wore Yelton purple to prom this year. Talk about super fan!
Congratulations to Ty, Gage, and all of the other graduates out there! Whether it’s a milestone year for your family, or just another school year coming to a close, enjoy it! Get out there and soak up those summer vibes. Because, as we all know, it will be gone before we know it.
