Y shop the Yelton Fall Bridal Sale?

Fall is the perfect engagement season! Leaves falling, cozy colder weather, and fun events to gather around. This season’s engagement ring trend has been going strong for the past few years. We’ve noticed more customers stopping in the store to shop bridal jewelry during the Fall more than any other season. To celebrate this, we are having our annual Fall Bridal Sale! Our Fall Bridal Sale takes place September 20th and 21st, in-store and all day long.

The looks of this year (2019-2020) are simple, classic and organic styles at the forefront. The halo diamond ring is on-trend right now – a single or double halo ring highlights the center diamond with even more diamonds and makes it sparkle even brighter. I would have to say that oval or pear-shaped have been the most popular asked for diamond cuts.

IMG_8030.JPGIn my experience, men have proven to be more traditional. They like to take the easy route, with simple and classic looks. Hey, I don’t blame them …they don’t want to get it wrong! The partner will often choose a simple engagement ring and then the bride will later choose a diamond wedding band that matches her style and personality. There are different options for stackable rings, changing styles and wearing on different fingers. Interesting enough, I have been switching out the style of my diamond wedding band on occasion too!

If you haven’t been in lately, then you haven’t seen that I’ve been rocking a new wedding ring set as of recently, (shown above). I am super grateful to have been gifted with the diamond that Roy wore every day and have decided to implement that into my diamond bridal set.

Y the Yeltons had a great Summer!

September is here, can you believe summer flew by so quickly? I have to say, seeing the boys leave for their first day of school is bittersweet. It’s a sigh of relief to have the boys back on schedule and shift my focus to fall season goals at home and at Yelton, but it’s difficult to see them go. Trent is off to seventh grade at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) and Ty is starting his sophomore year at CHCA. How do they change so much in just three short months? Our family is very blessed to have been able to squeeze in some family trips between the boys’ summer activities and working at the store. Here is a little recap of the Yelton’s Summer…

When Mark and I weren’t running around with the kids in West Chester, we found time to skip town. We took an amazing last-minute summer trip to New York City. It was a first for Ty and Trent, who were in complete awe of the city! The fam toured all the NYC staples like Times Square, the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 Memorial. We even got to squeeze in a Yankees game and they ended up beating the Orioles. The boys could not get enough of watching the game live at Yankee Stadium. Definitely one for the books!

My favorite part of the New York trip was… shoe shopping! Kidding, my top experience was actually The Color Factory, a pop-up art exhibit in Soho that we stumbled upon. Each room was a different color and it was very interactive so the boys were able to learn and have fun at the same time. I’ll admit it though, shoe shopping was a close second (shocker, I know).

Now we are back and ready to rock out this school year with a 7th and 10th grader! It’s always hard to kiss summer goodbye but luckily we have plenty to look forward to.

First up, my birthday which is … tomorrow! If you want to help me kick things off swing by the lacrosse field to say HBD. I’ll be celebrating all weekend long cheering on Trent playing with the Premier Lacrosse League. Why not, right?!

From there we’ll shift our focus back to baseball and lacrosse. The boys will be playing well into the Fall which means that Mark and I will be spending a lot of time on the bleachers. The fun kicks off tomorrow in Columbus, where I’ll be repping Trent’s team with my awesome pearl lacrosse necklace (#jewelryforalloccassions).
