Spring Break, Just In Time

pexels-photo-531675March is here! Thank goodness because I’m officially over winter. I’m ready to shed the bulky layers. I’m craving more color, all around. And, I think at this point we all deserve a little more sunshine. Who’s with me?

While I know we still have a while until we’re in full-on barbecue and bike ride mode spring break is giving me hope that summer really is just around the corner. Even if we don’t go anywhere I always enjoy this time to welcome the upcoming change of season, spend some time with family, and start to dust off what winter left behind {literally and metaphorically}.

What’s on your agenda for spring break? Whether you’re going somewhere exciting or hanging out to clean house, tell us what you’re up to. And if you’re hitting the road to somewhere fun you better believe that we want to see pictures!

Happy spring break everyone and goodbye winter blues!

Throwback Thursday: The 90’s

In celebration of our 30th year at Yelton Fine Jewelers we’ve decided to take a trip down memory lane. And, the best way to do that? Go through our commercial archives of course!

All I have to say is wow. We’ve uncovered some real gems along with a few fashion trends that we never need to revisit {in my opinion}. Dive on in, have a few laughs, and look out for familiar faces. These particular commercials were filmed between 1996 and 1999 at our Hamilton location on North F St.

Riveting performances from Roy, JoAnn, Mark, and {ahem} myself, wouldn’t you say? You may have also recognized the local businesses that so graciously let us march in with our film crew. Thank you Richards Pizza and A Hair Affair!

This throwback is only the beginning. As we continue to celebrate turning the big 3-0, be on the lookout for more yesteryear commercials from the Yelton Fine Jewelers crew. We all know there are plenty to choose from!

Oh, and before I go, I also want to give a shout out to Kelly Burgess for saving all of these archives! If you have any old photos or videos that you want to bring back to life be sure to contact her at Capture Your Pictures. We’ve certainly been having fun with ours!
